Course Connections - MILE 13.1: It was once one of the hundreds of S.S. Kresge stores that dotted the downtowns of America. In 1998 nearby St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church purchased the building and converted into the parish center. Both the pre-race pasta dinner and the post-race pizza lunch are held in the center.
