Course Connections - MILE 1.7: You pass under a pedestrian walkway that connects two parts of Camden Clark Medical Center as you run along Garfield Avenue. The hospital sponsored the race for 17 years and is still extremely involved, providing both medical aid for the runners and assistance in preparing the pasta dinner, including cooking more than 200 pounds of Rossi Gourmet Pasta.
