| Video, race photos now online.August 26, 2009 - Art SmithPeople that took part in Saturday’s News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two Mile Race can now relive the experience a number of different ways. Watch yourself finish the race. During the races Saturday a small black web camera hooked to a laptop computer sat just to the right of the finish line. The setup was streaming video of the races live to NewsandSentinelHalfMarathon.com. Around 60 views tuned in during the races to watch people come across the finish line. That videos are now available on the site so if you ran in the races you can go back and watch yourself and your friends cross the finish line. You will see me walk in front of the camera several times and you will hear race director Chip Allman tell hundreds of runners “Good Job” as they cross the line. Thousands of photos of the race now online We also hand a number of people taking digital photos of people starting, running in, and finishing the races. We now have thousands of photos online of the races for runners to view and if they want, order a print on any of more than 50 products by viewing the CU site where they are displayed. The races were exciting events for the runners, the spectators and the volunteers that help stage the event. Everybody can now experience the races all over again with a few clicks of their mouse.
